Board of the M.F.V. Panacea

After a busy period of preparing ourselves for the year 2010, we’re there: the 23th board of the M.F.V. Panacea has finally moved into the boardroom in the basement of the faculty! We hope to make 2010 a good year, for you, for us and of course for all the members of the M.F.V. Panacea. Below, we would like to introduce ourselves en tell you something about our functions.

Jeroen Hollander: Chair, coordinates the association and is the ‘chief’ of the board. Jeroen has gained experience in the introduction committee of 2008, the Grand ball committee of 2009 and is one of the bartenders of Villa Volonté. He takes very good care for his teeth, but has to take care for his precious ladies as well. We think he’ll do great work as our chair.

Lisa Korteschiel: Secretary, responsible for all the mail and correspondence and for the reports of our meetings. Lisa is the youngster of the board, seems very sweet but can be mischievous. She likes to party.

Lisanne de Vos: Treasurer, in charge of all the financial issues. Lisanne has gained two years of experience in the Sports committee and is ready to do the big work. Despite of her neurotic characteristics sometimes, we think the finances of the M.F.V. Panacea are in good hands. Lisanne is very sweet.

Charlotte Veldman: External Commissioner, in charge of all the sponsors and fundraising, maintains the external contacts. After 4 male External Commissioners, this chatty lady can hold her own. She also gained a lot of experience in the introduction committee of 2008, the medical career event committee of 2009 and as a bartender in Volonté. She was one of the stars in Panacea’s musical “Hair”.

Iris Kok: Education Commissioner, keeps an eye on matters related to teaching. She keeps in contact with and guides all the educational committees, like the IBR. She gained two years of experience in such a educational committee. Iris is always very interested in people and down to earth. Her favourite drink is a apfelkorn with soda water, or better said: ‘paardenkut’.

Karin Bruil: Internal Commissioner I, keeps an eye on all of the committees not related to medicine or culture, like the Sports committee and the Introduction committee. She is a sort of ‘mom’ for her committees and she has gained this love for Panacea and her experience during her two year membership of the Activity committee. She’s also a bartender in Volonté.

Jelena Slump: Internal Commissioner II, keeps an eye on all of the committees and working groups which are related to medicine and culture, like the Culture committee and the working group of First Aid. She has gained experience during the two years she has been part of the Foreign Excursion committee, and is very enthusiastic and motivated.
